What suspension do I need for tarmac rallying?

Tarmac calls for a firm setup with strong body control: shorter travel than gravel and precise hydraulics for hard cornering and braking. At TecnoShock we handle this with a made-to-measure tune based on your car, tyre and stage type, built on our rebuildable gas TSK monotube.

How is it different from a gravel or mixed-surface setup?

Tarmac needs less travel and firmer, more controlled hydraulics; gravel needs more travel and absorption for bumps and jumps. That's why the same setting won't do for both: at TecnoShock we define a tarmac-specific tune for your car and stages.

Can I adjust the suspension between stages depending on the tarmac condition?

Yes, we offer ranges with compression and rebound adjustment to adapt the car to rougher or smoother tarmac without swapping dampers. We define that adjustment window in the made-to-measure tune for your discipline and car.

How do I order a custom tune for tarmac rallying?

Tell us your car, weight, tyre, stage type and any previous setup experience, and we work from there. We've manufactured in Manresa since 1994 on rebuildable, repairable gas TSK monotubes, so the tune can be fine-tuned and maintained over time.
